Open Workshops – Week 1

We’ve held two fantastic workshops this week, the first at the Brighton Unemployed Centre Families Project and the second at Brighton Dome.

With austerity the broad theme that we are exploring, our first challenge over the next few weeks is going to be working out what to explore in more depth.

Yes, the conversations were intense at times. So our ongoing challenge is working out how to create a show that is entertaining, so the audience has a good night out, while conveying the emotional truth of what is happening in people’s lives.

If that sounds like your kind of thing – come along to our next open workshop at the Brighton Unemployed Centre Families Project on Tuesday 29th September from 10-1. You will get a warm welcome, a free creche if you have pre-school kids, a free lunch and your bus fare reimbursed if you are on a low income.

Hope to see you there!
