We’re running new drop-in workshops on Thursdays
We’re excited to bring you some BRAND NEW drop-in workshops this autumn. Join us weekly to play games, develop your creativity, make new friends, and have fun.
Workshops are every Thursday, 6.30 – 8 pm in central Brighton for anyone who wants to come and meet us, find out more and try it out with no obligation to commit. They’re led by our fabulous Associate Director Jack Parris, a performer, theatre-maker, writer and facilitator.
There is absolutely no experience required. You might have done some theatre when you were in school, or you just want to do something creative for an hour or two a week. Or maybe, you have always dreamt of becoming an actor but have not known where to start. If this sounds like you, Brighton People’s Theatre is the place for you.
Once we have secured funding for our shows in development (Born and Bread and The Songbird Café) we will share details of workshops that are open to anyone with a BN postcode who wants to get involved. Keep an eye on your inbox as we’ll send details out via our mailing list.
Workshops are held at Brighthelm on North Road and run weekly on Thursdays until 15 December, with a break for half term on 27 October. If you don’t know the venue, it’s really accessible on bus routes and a short walk from Brighton station. And thanks to the support of Brighton and Hove buses we are able to offer day saver bus tickets to those on low incomes wanting to attend our workshops. Get in touch with our Company Manager Fran if you’d like one.
