BPT Winter Get-Together 2024

At our Winter Get-Together, BPT members and workshop participants will have the chance to meet, eat some soup, and share performances on a small stage in front of a supportive audience as part of a Cabaret. We did this in the summer and it was a brilliant evening filled with lots of laughter, silliness and so many people together in one room.

Whether it’s something you’ve written, something well known, a character you’ve created, a monologue you’ve been practising, a scene or a sketch you’ve written, some stand-up, a song, a lip-sync, a dance, a bit of mime, a poem, something well-rehearsed, something completely improvised, something with a script in hand, something you know off by heart, something solo, something with a friend….the only rule is it must be 3 minutes or less.

If you are interested in performing, please tell us a bit more about what you might want to do here

(You could read a poem, perform a sketch, perform a monologue, do a scene from a film or play, work with a partner, sing a song, lip-sync a song, do a dance, perform a mime... almost anything. The work could be your own writing or someone else's. Well known or never heard before. The only rule is that it has to be less than three minutes and require little in the way of technical set-up.)
