Weekly Drop-In Theatre Workshops in Brighton City Centre
Brighthelm Centre (Hanover Room), North Road, Brighton, BN1 1YD
Join us for weekly drop-in theatre workshops to play games, develop your creativity, make new friends, and have fun.
Imaginative Improv
This workshop will dispel the myths of ‘method’ acting. You don’t have to kill a King to play Macbeth. And you don’t need to be a superhero to play a superhero. It’s possible to play characters with different experiences to our own through empathy and the most important tool in the actors’ tool-box…. Imagination.
Things we’ll look at together
How to fill out a character’s backstory using our imagination.
