We work across the whole of Brighton and Hove running workshops, creating new shows and setting up festivals. We do all of this in partnership with community organisations and cultural organisations.

We currently have an artist in residence, Kate McCoy, working in Hangleton and East Brighton on a project that was designed by local people from both areas: Random Acts of Neighbourliness. You can read about this project here. This is a commission from the Brighton Festival as part of Your Place and we secured additional funding for the work from the Big Lottery Fund.

We work in partnership with Brighton Festival, the Hangleton and Knoll Project and Due East all year to co-create Your Place, as part of the Brighton Festival. We are busy gearing up for our second year. You can read more detail of this year’s programme here.

We are also just finishing some research and development which has been funded by the Arts Council looking at what our work with children and young people in the city could be. Read about this here.

So far we have created one new piece of theatre, called Tighten Our Belts. This was created in partnership with the Brighton Unemployed Centre Families Project and the Brighton Dome during 2015-2016 and was performed at Brighton Dome in November 2016 and during Brighton Festival in May 2017. You can read more about it here.
