Our Workshops — Behind the stage doors

We offer workshops and experiences to increase a love and knowledge of theatre across our community. From hands-on theatre-making workshops to pizza and a play lunchtime readings.

We might be in lockdown again, but let Brighton People’s Theatre transport you away from it all – through the power of your imagination. We’re currently running all our weekly theatre workshops online until at least the February half term. When it is safe to do so, we will run our town centre and Whitehawk workshops face-to-face.

Have a look and book any of our upcoming activities below.

Before you book

We prioritise people who have had the fewest opportunities to access arts and cultural activities. Our activities are open to people over the age of 18, with a BNpostcode, and who have never worked professionally in the arts.

We charge for some activities and others are sold on a pay what you decide basis to those on low income.

If the cost of transport or childcare prevents you from attending, we can help. Please contact us in confidence to discuss your access needs:
