Watch our new show Born and Bread
We’re excited to bring you our latest show, Born and Bread, a new story for the stage all about home, belonging, and identity.
If Brighton were a dining table that stretches out along the sea, who has a seat at the table? What stories are told across the table?
In March 2022 we listened to stories about food from over 100 people across the City.
From Bangkok to Bevendean. Whitehawk to Mexico City. The stories painted a picture of the City from a perspective never seen before. A love-letter to the past. A challenge to the future. Revealing who we are today.
Come together in the community kitchen and join an ensemble of performers from across the City for Born and Bread; a portrait of the City told through (mostly) true stories about food.
The table has been laid, and your invitation is right here.
See you at the table.
