The Hawk in the Valley workshops will above all be playful. You will be warmly welcomed and invited to play, take risks and create with a group of people, all residents of East Brighton. Together we’ll work towards making a new piece of theatre.

You might learn new skills, or dust off and practice existing ones and you will almost certainly laugh. Over the six weeks, we’ll look together at the material gathered through interviews.

We’ll find ways to develop it into a brand new piece of theatre that we’ll share with our communities, in a way that we decide upon together.

All our activities are sold on a Pay What You Decide basis. We know that times are tough and we do not want finances to stop you from getting involved. Please select a ticket price that you can afford to book your place on a workshop.
